DESCRIPTION:Kissimmee/Osceola County Young Professionals Small Business Grant\n\n \n\nThe Young Professionals Area Council of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce is committed to a program of philanthropy that supports small business strategic goals\, primarily focused on improving the community and promoting business prosperity in the Kissimmee and Osceola County areas.\n\n \n\nThe Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce and the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce Foundation administer the Young Professionals of the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce's philanthropic activities.\n\n \n\nFunding Guidelines:\n\nApplications are accepted until 6/30/2021.\n\n \n\nTo be considered for funding as outlined by this grant\, organizations must meet all of the following criteria:\n\n Operate within the boundaries of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce\n Be a member of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce\n Demonstrate fiscal and administrative responsibility by:\n \n Submit financial statements for the past two quarters\n Statement of good financial standing from financial institution used for business\n \n \n Demonstrate proper State of Florida registration and a valid EIN\n Submit a Grant Proposal which includes:\n \n A detailed description of how grant funds will be utilized by your organization if awarded\n Quotes for intended grant funded expenditures\n \n Spec sheets for equipment\n Timeline for use of funds and completion of project\n \n \n How your organization and its activities may align with one or more of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce?s strategic focus areas: \n \n advocating for business\n improving community\n promoting the region\n creating opportunity\n embracing heritage and building unity.\n \n \n \n \n Comply with the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce?s acknowledgement requirements set out in a separate document.\n\n \n\nRestricted Applicants:\n\nThe Young Professionals of Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce will not provide a grant to the following types of organization:\n\n\n Organizations that do not align with the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce?s values\, commitment to diversity or approach to Equal Opportunity. \n Professional associations\, labor organizations\, fraternal organizations or social clubs.\n Social events sponsored by social clubs\n Athletic groups\, clubs and teams\n Individuals\n\n \n\nPurpose of funds\; including but not limited to: \n\n\n Website design\n Purchase/rent equipment\n Licensing/Certification\n Software\n Employee training\n\n \n\nRestrictions for use of funds:\n\n\n Taxes\n Renovations (even related to CDC requirements for COVID-19)\n Legal fees\n Applied toward loans\n Funds must be used within the Kissimmee and Osceola County areas.\n Salary\, bonus or any other form of compensation\n\n \n\nEligible Applicants: \n\n\n Non-profits\n State registered private businesses\n\n \n\nAdditional Information on Eligibility:\n\n Limit responses to 2\,500 characters
